Solvang!

Right now we're on vacation in Solvang, California. It's this little Danish-themed town in Southern California and it's SO CUTE! I just got back from walking around all the shops and I bought all this Danish candy and a ton of little Danish flags and some postcards for my host families in Denmark.

It also has an ostrich and emu farm outside of town, and we got to go and feed them.
Slightly terrifying experience... They're kind of aggressive!

This really is the cutest town ever!

Upcoming Adventures!

I created this blog because in August I will be leaving to go on an exchange in Denmark for a year! I'll live in Høje Tåstrup, a town of about 45,000 people right outside of... COPENHAGEN. I am so excited to be living near Copenhagen, I honestly can't think of anywhere I'd rather live for a year. I'll stay with three different host families and study at Høje Tåstrup Gymnasium. 

You may be wondering why Denmark? And my answer is that they're the happiest people in the world. It seems like they've mastered the art of living, and I really want to see what makes them so happy. Why not go live in a really happy country for a year?

That's all I can really think of to say right now, seeing as I'm not actually in Denmark yet so there's not that much to write about!
